Overview

The M-HT gate valve—with our WKM Pow-R-Seal double expanding gate design, nonrising stem, and metal-to-metal sealing technology—is ideal for temperatures up to 650 degF [343 degC]. The M-HT gate valve has a special high-temperature stem packing that is rated for steam service, follows our stringent quality specifications, and provides dependable service in applications with pressures between 2,000 and 5,000 psi. It is available in sizes from 2 1/16 to 4 1/16 in, with either flanged or threaded ends and in trims for all types of oilfield service.

Advantages

  • Special high-temperature stem packing made from PTFE rings and graphite rated for 650-degF steam service
  • Stem packing that can be reenergized with valve under pressure using a high-temperature sealant
  • Metal-to-metal sealing at the gate-to-seat and seat-to-body seals
  • Expanding gate design for positive mechanical sealing across the seats with or without line pressure
  • Gate skirts reduce loss of body lubricants
  • Stem bearings isolated from well fluid for increased life and reduces torque
  • Nonrising stem for valve installation in closer quarters
  • Field-replaceable seats, gates, stem, and other working parts
