Founded by O.B. Schoenfeld and J.M. Sheesley in 1937 in Corpus Christi, Texas, the beginnings of Cameron’s TEXSTEAM™ brand started on an initial pooled investment of $500 to produce chemical proportioning pumps for use in the injection of chemicals into oil well casings and flowlines. As time progressed, the company made steam heating equipment, hot oil heaters to clean flowlines, and later made chemical injection pumps. TEXSTEAM plug valves, such as the Super G, offer customers a valuable option for bubble-tight sealing in tough severe service applications, from the oil and gas industry to the mining industry.
