Cameron’s BARTON® Liquid Level Systems provide accurate hydraulic transmission of a process medium for measuring the level of liquids contained in a process vessel. The systems are comprised of one or more sensors connected by capillary tubing to a gauge or differential pressure transmitter, indicator or indicating switch. The sensors contain bellows which function as isolation seals. As pressure on the sensor bellows vary due to changes in liquid level, the variations are transmitted hydraulically through the tubing to the transmitter.

The liquid level systems provide excellent service under both normal environmental conditions and under the drastic changes of ambient pressure, temperature and humidity encountered during a design basis event. Possible applications include reactor level, sump level, containment pressure, steam generator level and torus level management.
